I'm a veteran writer, editor, and content strategist.

With more than a decade of experience as a freelance journalist and staff editor, I've become an expert in the art of compelling, multi-platform content. After starting my career at Travel + Leisure, I quickly discovered my passion for storytelling, through the lens of travel. While working for T+L, and later for Condé Nast Brides as Features and Travel Editor, I honed the necessary skills to create thoughtfully researched, informative, engaging content across print, digital, and social channels, which I now execute for a wide range of media outlets and clients.

The best stories are ones that are lived, so I’ve made it my mission to explore the world. My passport has been stamped everywhere from Indonesia to Mexico, French Polynesia to
Sri Lanka, Morocco to Botswana. Along the way, I've reviewed countless five-star hotels (sometimes undercover!), interviewed celebrities, trekked with African bushmen, and gone scuba-diving with bull sharks. Though I spend less time lounging in overwater-bungalows—now as a mother to two young kids—travel and lifestyle reporting remains at my core. Take a look at some recent clips and stay tuned for more!

Recent Projects

My work has covered such topics as: luxury leisure travel, honeymoons, destination weddings, wedding planning, hotels, design/architecture, restaurants/bars, fashion/shopping, health/fitness, and more. I've written and edited features in formats ranging from essays and long-form to packages and branded content. I've also managed year-long, revenue-driving ad/sales projects and their multimedia rollout across digital, video, and social platforms.

Travel as Discovery

As a self-professed beach bum, safe to say I've sought out some of the world's most spectacular stretches of sand (my favorites being Anse Macquereau in the Seychelles and Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island, Bahamas). In between, I've torn my MCL skiing in the American Rockies, (unwittingly) eaten crickets in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, soared over Victoria Falls by helicopter, and learned to pick tea in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. Here, a few choice memories:
